Hourglass Aqua Fusion Twist Ballpoint - Chrome

These fun and elegant hand-turned hourglass pens are paired with Aqua Fusion box elder burl/acrylic barrels.  The sand flows freely when you flip the pen and the hourglass contains about 60 seconds of sand.

Box elder is the most widely distributed maple in the Americas. In North America, it ranges from the east to the west coasts and then from northern Canada, south to Guatemala. Box Elder produce burls. A burl or burr is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. These growths produce a figure that is rare and beautiful, particularly sought after in turned and decorative objects.
